YET was established in 1996 as a joint venture between Yaskawa Electric Corporation and RoboGroup and is dedicated to the development of advanced and unique motion control technologies and products.

Among YET's advanced patented technologies is NCT motion control technology for servo drives. NCT significantly enhances the throughput of machines, while shortening settling time to zero and reducing position error dramatically. The XtraDrive™, YET's flagship intelligent servo drive series, is based on this proprietary control technology. Its programmability, automated tuning functions and multiple connectivity options such as embedded Profibus, CANopen and Mechatrolink enable easy integration into the machine.

XtraDrive™ was developed for high throughput and superior accuracy in both high-end applications and general-purpose use.
